Gunjan Gujral and Amandeep Singh Saluja’s wedding, planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Classique Events, was a true celebration of joy and togetherness. With just 25 days to plan two complete functions, the planning team transformed the couple’s vision into a reality to reflect their personalities, their bond, and their shared love for meaningful detail.
The couple’s story began in November 2020, when a chance connection on a dating app blossomed into a bond that withstood distance and time. From their first meeting on Christmas to a dreamy proposal in Dubai, every milestone marked their commitment to each other.
The wedding celebrations in March started with a Sangeet that was a spirited celebration of love and laughter. Set against a lively backdrop of bold magenta and golden hues, it was a night of effortless fun. Gunjan looked radiant in her vibrant orange ensemble, dancing with Amandeep to the beats of the dhol and laughter. The décor mirrored the couple’s joyful energy with its floral accents, foliage-laced frames, and warm lighting.
The Anand Karaj held deep sentimental value for the bride, who had cherished memories attached to the place since childhood. The ceremony was serene and emotional. The planners ensured every guest was guided with care, and post the wedding ceremony, a lunch awaited them, allowing everyone to relax and revel in the joy of the moment. For the wedding décor, a delicate palette of ivory, baby pink, and lush greens that exuded quiet sophistication was curated. A grand central cabana was adorned with florals, cane sofas, and chandeliers, while a bespoke photo backdrop narrated the couple’s story, complete with the number of days they’d been together and their wedding date. A live three-piece band filled the air with soft, romantic melodies as the couple made their entry, greeted by showers of petals and the cheerful sound of rattles. “Gunjan and Amandeep wanted a space that felt intimate yet elegant, something that reflected their love story. Every corner had a detail that meant something to them,” shares Simardeep.
What truly stood out was how customised the entire wedding felt. From thoughtfully designed stationery and a ‘Make Your Own Bag’ station filled with oxidised jewellery to custom caricatures and curated keepsakes, every element reflected the couple’s love for their guests. “We wanted the couple and their guests to experience something heartfelt, a blend of simplicity and style,” adds Simardeep. “Our team worked around the clock, ensuring every little dream of theirs found its place in reality.”
