The challenge was formidable. With no inbuilt infrastructure, the school playground had to be reimagined from the ground up — quite literally. “When we first saw the space, it was just an open field. The transformation had to be complete, and the canvas gave us the freedom to dream big,” shares Bhavneet from Weddings by Fourth Munky. Every element, from the flooring to the lighting, tenting, staging, and utilities, was custom-built, culminating in over 20,000 sq. ft. of bespoke décor and immersive experience zones. The team’s approach was rooted in seamless planning, ensuring that every guest, from the Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), and Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat to the many eminent attendees, experienced the same warmth and attention to detail.
The venue unfolded like a work of art — elegant floral installations framed the pathways, intricate lighting designs bathed the open grounds in a soft, celebratory glow, and thoughtfully designed hospitality areas kept the evening flowing effortlessly. “Our goal was to ensure that the scale never overshadowed the intimacy,” says Ishita from the team. “Even with hundreds of guests, we wanted every corner to feel personal, every moment to feel special.” The night reached its crescendo with a soulful live performance by Indian Idol winner Salman Ali, who had the crowd swaying and singing along, perfectly capping off an evening that was both dazzling and deeply personal.
