Sarina Vaswani, daughter of Indian-born Dubai Based Businessman Sunil Vaswani, wed Lavine Hemlani, an edtech entrepreneur and founder of Xaltius, in an exquisite destination celebration designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Wedding Square. Every element reflected the couple’s shared vision of a wedding that was deeply personal, beautiful, and unlike anything they had seen before.

“Sarina and Lavine wanted elegance without excess, tradition with taste, and a design language that spoke to their personalities,” shares Nitin Mathur from The Wedding Square. “Our brief was to craft each event as an immersive mood, not a checklist. Every colour and texture was chosen to convey emotion and the duo’s shared love for detail.” Behind the scenes, the design process demanded meticulous precision, from engineering large-scale floral installations in coastal climates to sourcing blooms and materials across Europe without compromising freshness or artistic intent. Nitin adds, “The result was a celebration where every space told a story, every detail held meaning, and the couple’s dream of an elevated, emotive wedding came alive in the heart of the Riviera.”

Over four days in the French Riviera, the celebrations unfolded as a seamless narrative of refined artistry. The welcome dinner, Riviera Soirée, at Carlton Beach exuded crisp coastal charm in deep French blues and whites, accented with minimalist black frames, reflective surfaces, and lush white florals, which was a contemporary homage to timeless Riviera glamour.

The mehendi, Sun-drenched Boho Bloom, at Vilebrequin, was a relaxed, joy-filled afternoon in tones of sunshine yellow and white, accentuated with cane, wicker, pampas accents, and linen textiles. Floral mandalas and earthy installations created a breezy, boho-chic mood that contrasted beautifully with the formality of the other events.

The sangeet, named ‘A Regal Affair’, transformed Palm Beach into a Mughal-meets-modern court draped in deep crimson, maroon, and antique gold. Velvet textures, baroque arches, and pools of candlelight evoked an opulent, intimate ambience under starlit skies.

The wedding day at Château La Croix des Gardes was a study in poetic minimalism. A floating mandap crafted of hydrangeas, peonies and phalaenopsis blooms seemed to hover over reflective pools, with mirror pillars catching the light. The aisle stretched across water, mirroring the sky as the couple walked toward their new beginning, surrounded by nature and pristine white blooms.
