When Simran and Siddhant began envisioning their wedding, they wanted more than a celebration; they wanted an experience that reflected their roots, personalities, and shared sense of taste. Bringing this vision to life was WeddingSutra Favorite – Design HQ, whose thoughtful approach led them to design a sequence of events that felt cohesive, meaningful, and in sync with the scenic surroundings.
Every setting was designed to tell a story through balance, mood, and detail. “Our approach is always rooted in feeling,” shares Kinjal Adodra of Design HQ . “For Simran and Siddhant, we wanted each day to flow naturally, where every texture and colour reflected who they are.” The result was nothing short of breathtaking. As the bride shared, “Design HQ has absolutely outdone itself. The decor was the most amazing thing I have ever seen, it was so beautiful and classy. Every single person was mesmerised. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”
The festivities began with a warm welcome as guests arrived at the palace to the sound of nagadas and the sight of traditional dancers. The floral garlands, local hampers, and ambient lighting created a sense of comfort and anticipation. The welcome dinner in the palace courtyard was relaxed and elegant, with soft lighting and uncluttered tablescapes that complemented the heartfelt speeches.
For Mayra, Design HQ transformed the palace amphitheatre with Paithani fabrics, vibrant florals, and mirrored details that celebrated heritage in a fresh way. The Haldi ceremony followed a ‘Pastel Safari’ theme, combining blush tones with subtle tiger prints. Handcrafted activity stations and personalised corners encouraged guests to participate and enjoy the moment.
The evening Sangeet and Cocktail offered a striking change in tone. The ‘Ice & Fire’ theme paired cool blues with warm reds, with the design team using light and form to create contrast. The frozen-inspired bar, champagne reveal, and fire performance added character to the setting.
The next morning, the mood shifted with a Turkish Souk-themed brunch. Patterned drapes, brass elements, and woven textures lent the space a relaxed charm. Tanura dancers, illusionists, and tarot readers added layers of engagement, while nostalgic candy corners and interactive details made it enjoyable for all ages. “Simran and Siddhant wanted each event to feel distinct,” Kinjal shares. “The brunch reflected their shared interest in culture and discovery.”
The wedding ceremony brought the celebrations to a graceful close. As the palace facade lit up with visuals narrating the couple’s journey, guests gathered at the Hathi Kund for the rituals. The décor was kept understated, featuring ivory florals, gentle candlelight, and water reflections that created a serene mood. As pyrotechnics marked the varmala, the evening came together in a moment of warmth and meaning.
